Venetia A. Dover, Office Manager

Venetia A. Dover is the office manager at Dover Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and is the wife of Dr. Dover.  Venetia received her B.A. degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and her Master's degree from Howard University in Washington, DC.  Venetia is currently completing her Ph.D. at Howard University and is due to finish by Spring 2012.  Venetia is new to the field of dentistry but she has several years of experience working in policy writing, research, and office management.  She has worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances and is excited to use her excellent organizational skills coupled with her positive customer service experience as an office manager at Dover Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.  She enjoys cooking, reading, watching reality television shows and spending time with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.   Overall, she is dedicated and committed to helping you to achieve optimal oral health and is looking forward to pampering YOU.....and your SMILE! 

Sabrina Hagans, Dental Assistant

Sabrina Hagans is the dental assistant at Dover Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Sabrina graduated from Hillcrest High School in Queens, New York and completed a dental assisting program at Jamaica Hospital Health Center in Queens, New York. She has over 10 years of experience in various aspects of dentistry. She is married to her wonderful husband Dean and she is actively involved with her congregation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching Bollywood films. Sabrina’s vast knowledge of various aspects of dentistry coupled with her warm personality and friendly demeanor makes her a great asset to our practice. Sabrina will go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience at our office and she is looking forward to pampering YOU……..and your SMILE!

 

Bonnie Thomas, R.D.H., Registered Dental Hygienist 

Bonnie Thomas is the Registered Dental Hygienist at Dover Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. She has lived it the Dover area for all of her life! She is a graduate of Smyrna High School and completed her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Delaware Technical and Community College. She has over 20 years of experience as a licensed registered dental hygienist in the State of Delaware. In addition, she participates in various administrative and leadership positions within her profession. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Delaware Dental Hygienist Association and the Kent Sussex Dental Hygiene Association (in which she has served as President and Vice President in the past). She also serves on the Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee and she is an esteemed member of the Delaware State Board of Dental Examiners. She is the mother of two beautiful children: Kylie and Owen. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, landscaping, coaching softball and t-ball, and spending time with her family. Bonnie has a wealth of knowledge regarding various aspects of dentistry and is very focused on providing superior services to her patients. She is an extraordinary asset to the practice and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. She is looking forward to pampering YOU…..and your SMILE. 

  

Ashley Harrison, Dental Assistant 

Ashley Harrison is a dental assistant at Dover Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.  She is a native of Smyrna, Delaware and she received certification in Dental Assisting at Polytech High School.  She is fairly new to the field of dentistry but you will never know based on her positive work ethics, strong knowledge of dentistry, and extraordinary commitment to providing superior services to patients!  In the Fall 2011, she will begin her journey towards becoming a Dental Hygienist at Delaware Technical and Community College.  We are certain she will be a great success!!!  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and shopping.   Overall, Ashley's vast knowledge of various aspects of dentistry coupled with her superb patient relations skills makes her a valuable asset to this practice.  She is committed to helping you to improve your oral health and is ready and willing to help pamper YOU....and your SMILE!   

Nicole Triggs, Assistant Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist 

 

 Nicole Triggs is the newest member of our team!  She serves as the assistant office manager/front desk receptionist.  She recently moved to Delaware from Parsippany, New Jersey where she completed her training in dental assisting/office management at Central Career School.  She has over ten years of experience in various facets of dentistry, including but not limited to, running the front office and assisting the dentist with various procedures.  In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her fiance Ronnie and her son Kenny, and watching football (she is a huge Giants Fan!).  Nicole's warm personality coupled with her vast knowledge of dentistry makes her an incredible asset to our practice!  She is dedicated to making sure you have the best experience possible at our office and will always go the extra mile to pamper YOU......and your SMILE!
