Dr. Dover received his BS degree in Chemistry from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. He completed dental school at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and went on to complete a post doctoral residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Howard University. Committed to remaining on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Dover continually completes advanced education courses in a variety of cosmetic dental procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Delaware Dental Society.
Dr. Dover is devoted to providing the highest quality of care with a warm, gentle touch. He has attended numerous advanced training courses in cosmetic dentistry and is certified in ClearCorrecttm, the invisible alternative to traditional braces, Laser Whitening, and Lumineers. His state-of-the-art dental facility features the latest techniques and equipment in general and cosmetic dentistry which includes: digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, soft tissue laser, and an advanced sterilization center.
While striving for excellence, Dr. Dover is also committed to patient education and takes every measure to make sure patients understand their dental treatment and their needs are satisfied. His goal is to create healthy, beautiful smiles while keeping his patients comfortable, relaxed, and pain free.
Service to the community and family plays a significant role in Dr. Dover's life. A proud military veteran, Dr. Dover served 14 years in the United States Army. He is also a Merit Badge Counselor for the Delmarva Council of the Boy Scouts of America. This gives him an opportunity to share his knowledge and resources regarding dentistry with youth within the community. He is married and is the proud father of a beautiful daughter. His interests include art, sports, reading, and movies and his life philosophy is "Live life to leave this world a little better than you entered it."
